ImageToday at the WC3L finals in Chengdu, China the ESL announced the winners of the WC3L's 14th seasonal player awards.

What is arguably the most coveted award amongst WC3L participants, the most valuable player award went to fnatic's Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom. FoCuS played phenomenally well this season, securing the first rank and contributing heavily to his team's first place finish. Teammate Chul Woo 'Shy' Park, who finished second in the rankings, was also nominated for the award.

The most improved player award went to World Elite's Kejing 'Like' Li, who jumped from 61st place in last season's rankings with a record of 9 and 13 to tenth this season with a record of 19 and 10, which is, by all means, a very significant improvement.

Raptor's Tim 'HLA' Gebel scored himself the rookie of the season award after ranking 32nd in the season with a record of 15 and 11.

Fnatic found their fifth nomination and second award this season in manager Elroy "Noname" Pinto, everyone's favourite manager. Elroy's team managed to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and obliterate a cycle of not quite close enough finishes to end their latest season in first place. His contribution towards that was acknowledged with this award.

The only award left open now is who will be the WC3L's 14th champion?
