SK-Gaming will retain its EU PvP team for another year. After a successful year, which brought two top two finishes, it's no surprise to see SK-Gaming's EU PvP team has renewed its contract with the organization.
The 2008 roster will be retained in full, and looks like this:
Olivier 'Orly' Bellemans – Priest
Valent 'Another' Sebatijan – Mage
Simon 'Xom' Palmer - Rogue
The PvP LAN season began for SK Europe in August with two events. A second place at EM Leipzig in August showed the team's potential, but an unfortunate turn of events at Blizzard's WWI meant the team would have to wait till October to prove itself properly.
When the opportunity arose, however, Xom and co. grabbed it with both hands. Unbeaten in bracket play, the guys overcame Gravitas in Montreal to take home a cool $15,000. They showed their prowess as rogue/mage/priest composition, beating the Americans 3-2 in a mirror match.
The team's rogue, Simon 'Xom' Palmer, played a vital role in that performance and says he is looking forward to another successful year in 2009: "after the success we enjoyed under SK's name last year which included our first championship win, we're looking forward to scaling even greater heights together with SK in 2009!"
Olivier 'Orly' Bellemans is also excited about the next 12 months: "our past year with SK-Gaming has been a blast and hopefully this year will be no different." He also said that he was excited about the new challenges brought on by the release of Wrath:
"the new year has shifted the balance of WoW PvP completely. We look forward to competing in this new game setting and prove we are a versatile team capable of adapting."

can anyone tell me why WoW is played 3on3 in eSports? Why not 5on5?
The real question here is... eny news on the US squads Zechs?
However I do believe playing the main setup rather than fotm setups will help to find ways to overcome the issues currently playing in arena.
lol
i believe orlly with switch to a shaman later on-
