World Elite player Xuwen “infi” Wang, advanced to knockout phase following a commanding 2-0 defeat of Du Seop “WhO” Chang today, told Replays.Net it was a fluke to take down both Check and HoT with 2-1 wins in previous stages in PGL Season IV.You are now in the knockout phase. How do you feel right now?
It was pure fluke, especially my matches against Check and HoT. It was mission impossible if you ask me.
How is your stay in Chengdu? Have you tried anything spicy?
Yes, spicy food everyday and diarrhoea everyday too, but I finally found a restaurant lately which serves something mild so I am really excited.
It’s the first tournament in 2009. Does it mean anything special for you?
No, I am not counting on it in the first place so I am not expecting anything particular.
That is a past tense now, though it’s still a race requires no skill.
Which game impresses you so far in the competition?
The third game I played against HoT on Death Trap I think.
What do you think of the new maps? Are they well balanced?
Not really for Human players at the least, but luckily all participating Human players but me are pretty strong.
However I considered it mission impossible, I had my chance to turn table back at that time. My macro control in the final stage of the game led to my success.
Could you tell us your opinion towards PGL and you said you were not expecting anything particular in this tournament, but what is your goal here, if any?
It’s terrific tournament overall, but the training section and eating environment are far from ideal.
Is there anything you wanna say to your fans?
It’s not easy to support me. Thank you.

"Orc is still a race requires no skill."
We see quite a few Orc players here. Do you think Orc is still that overpowered? That is a past tense now, though it’s still a race requires no skill.

When you were at a disadvantage in both matches against Check and HoT, you were still playing with patience. Did you see yourself losing in the end? How did you manage to take it?However I considered it mission impossible, I had my chance to turn table back at that time. My macro control in the final stage of the game led to my success.

Im sick and tired of all these whines from non-orc players, man play the game and stop whining...
"Mr.TowerMan talkes about orc imba...how ironic.I never liked him.Build some more towers please!!!!!!!"
'nuff said.
@RiceRiceMaybe u fail -.- as StarStalker said patch didnt change anything in the orc race. And anyways the fact that the orc players are more (as a number) and more consistent (as a skill) should tell you that its not the race its the players that make orc look like imba race
But it's funny that it's coming from a guy that masses towers and then goes mass gryphons with 3-3 grades against orc, something that race has no counter to!
But then again, blademaster is too strong!
@RiceRiceMaybe - that didnt helped orcs a lot cause solution is simple:buy two staffs and built more towers...
Try to play as orc vs NE and encounter 1234123 DotT.For me that is the most annoying thing in the world, yet I still dont whine.Oh,and about that tactics...New patch doesnt help orcs vs that tactics right? So tell me why do you see more wins vs NE against that tactics than in 2007?
To me,one combo of units when playing as orc is a deficit:its boring sometimes, you cannot improvise, but you have to do that combo in order to win...
All Im saying is when orcs are dominating its imba, when NE were dominating its imba...
People should pay attention to improve their skills and tactics and worry less about stupid things like imbalance.
funny quote ;d
mostwantedlover and starstalker i like u :)
"My macro control in the final stage of the game led to my success."
it should be: "My tower control in the final stage of the game led to my success."
"Orc is still a race requires no skill."
it should be "Human is still a race requires only towers."
hUEIOhiohAEHIIHEihaehheaH!!
A win is a win, who cares how he did it. Well played!
I dont wanna say, orc isnt too strong atm or that it requieres very much skill, but i think saying "requieres no skill" is far from reality and as a pro he should know.
Ye, orc needs only 1-2 strats and so on, but at least you gotta micro ur units...towers need none ;)
Infi is a skilled player for sure, but hes wrong at this point...
...and now rate me down.
he is an emo.
Concerning to the "bad translation or mistranslation as usual by sk" part, would you please drop links to those articles here? Thank you.
That is already a thing of the past. Orc still has little variation in strategy."
This is the way mymym.com translated his answer.
He didnt say orcs have no skill, he said they have no strat variation, which is true.
It’s not easy to support me. Thank you."
By far the most hilarious answer ever. Seems like his self confidence goes below no self confidence at all.
