As we found out just before Christmas the NGL ONE will be a solo league from now on. The NGL ONE has shed the KotH team format to become a 24 player 1on1 league with eight players receiving direct invites, another twelve fighting in qualifiers and the remaining four to be voted into NGL ONE by the community from a list of nominated gamers.

Given June 'Lyn' Park excellent performance in 2008 his invite was inevitable however Seo Woo 'ReiGn' Kang's might come as a surprise for some. ReiGn had an impressive NGL Finals in December but throughout 2008 failed to receive the same quantity of invites his team-mates did. However, few will argue the Korean Undead player is not of the same calibre as his team-mates and is one of the top Undeads in the scene at the current time. His invite is thoroughly deserved and will hopefully break the trend of 2008.

The NGL ONE 1on1 League is set to begin in the first quarter of the year with the qualifiers to be held in the coming weeks.
