Roster changes for SK Ladies in 2009

ImageWith 2009 just begun, we announce a few changes regarding the SK Ladies team. Jane "jane" Wie and Christine "potter" Chi are leaving the team but a new fifth is about to be announced.

The team have won their second ESWC title in a row with SK Gaming in 2008 but the team will be undergoing changes for 2009. Jane 'janeosaur' Wie has decided to focus more on her real life thus going inactive while Christine 'potter' Chi will join up with PMS.

Christine "potter" Chi has been a core part of the team for more than three years when they first joined up, meanwhile Jane was recruited shortly after. We want to thank both players for the great times and the great memories they leave us with and wish them good luck in the future.

This leaves the team with four active members with a try out to find the new fifth member to be announced soon. Despite the changes you can expect to see them ready to defend their ESWC title again in 2009 as well as attend several events before.

SK.Ali blogs about the changes

Alice "ali" Lew has written a blog about the recent changes, here is an extract:

"The departure of potter and jane might come as a suprise to some but it was inevitable to the team especially after a couple incidents that occured during this past summer. In regards to jane who had just graduated and moved in with her boyfriend, she had decided she no longer had the same love for the game as she did before. People grow up and things change. We know she'll be so successful in her life and wish her the best of luck."
