Guys how many of you posting here have actually read the PGL rules?

In this phase is a good thing being in a "hard group", because it works as a team (group members are team members). So group B and D are the best.

Bad thing for grubby fans is that his group is, at least on paper, the weakest and, in case of defeats in this stage will have less players to go further in the next stage.

So all of you who thing 2 players will go further are wrong.

Too bad Moon sits this one out.

okay,groups play against each other,what then?

The Professional Gamers League comprises of four team knockout rounds, a group stage, four revival rounds, four individual knockout rounds and two Final rounds.

Team knockout phase
16 players are split into four groups of four and each group will play as a team in this phase. This phase will decide which group will have more players advance to the future knockout phase. Two finalists in this phase will be branded as upper groups, while two losing groups will in the meantime branded as lower groups. This phase will be double elimination and matches will be played on King of the Hill basis.

Group stage
The players will play against their group opponents through double elimination playoffs and matches will be played on best of three basis. Upper groups will see top two performers in respective group advance to the individual knockout phase, while bottom two players enter the revival phase. The lower groups will meanwhile see top two performers in respective group enter the revival phase, while bottom two players will be eliminated from the competition.

Revival phase
The players will be drawn against their respective opponents prior to the kickoff of this phase. They will play against each other on best of three basis through a double elimination playoffs. The 4 winners of second round will join a similar number of automatic entrants in the individual knockout phase.

Individual knockout phase
The rules in this phase will be the same as the revival phase applied. The 4 winners of second round will advance to the Final phase.

Final
The players will be drawn against their respective opponents prior to the kickoff of this phase. They will play against each other on best of five basis through a single elimination playoffs.
