Zhuo "TeD" Zeng is interviewed by Replays.net where he gives tips on picking up girls, remaining confident and preferring Orcs over Nightelves to battle with.G-League, is one of the lesser known and upcoming leagues of Warcraft 3 in Asia. The tournament is open strictly to Asian players only. The league kick started on 25th December and some famous names have already been signed up. One such person is the famous Chinese Undead star, Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng, who will be competing. In this translated interview (courtesy:MYM), TeD talks about picking up girls briefly while also sharing thoughts on his fellow competing Chinese stars and what he thinks about the pro-gaming scene in general. Most recently TeD was ousted by his Chinese compatriot, Hao 'suhO' Su, in the PGL Qualifiers. Here's a non dating snippet...
The preliminary rounds of the tournament will be held online and the finals are rumoured to be around May. The first prize for the tournament is Euros 2,500. You can read the complete interview here.
Do you have any hopes for the future of the e-sports scene? I think that progamers are all awaiting the day where they can be adored and understood by the public in the same way as sports or entertainment stars.
I think as players, we seek the understanding of the audience more than their love. Because this profession is not easy. As for the future of e-sports, the seniors like King and Ducui say that e-sports is already developing rapidly. From 2006 when I first started until now, I also feel that there are really many large-scale and small-scale competitions. The fan base is also expanding very quickly. More games are also being broadcasted and more people can get to watch e-sports matches now.
