The runner-up last season, who was barely edged out by former wNv Teamwork player Xiang 'TH000' Huang in a five-set match in the overall final this June, handed his place in the looming season over the organising body of PGL as the 22-year-old has been immersed in numbers of events outside his homeland in the past few months and hence couldn’t stay with his family as much as he wished.

“I have been busy with various activities this year and rarely stayed with my family so I intend to spend the end of this year as well as early 2009 with them,” Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang revealed his reason led to his decision and apologised to PGL and his fans as well in an open letter at PGL.com, “I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience I’ve caused in this incident to PGL committee and all my fans in China and I am willing to reimburse travel costs the committee has paid. I will definitely attend next season of PGL if I’ve got the chance.”

PGL afterwards got in touch with the eighth place in recently-concluded PGL Season IV Chinese Qualifier, who seemed to eventually miss out this season after losing to Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu, Hao 'suhO' Su and Kejing 'Like' Li in a row, and the World Elite player responded positively.
