Sung Yeon 'Myth' Kim and Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee both placed top of their groups to advance to the semi-finals, where just yesterday Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán beat Du Seop 'WhO' Chang in a surprising semi-finals match.

The King of Kings tournament has had its fair share of surprises. LucifroN beating WhO was certainly a surprise for the fans, as was Myth qualifying from group C, or even LucifroN qualifying from his. While there's no doubt LucifroN and Myth are both great players, groups C and D were incredibly tough, with players like Chul Woo 'Shy' Park, Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn, Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom and Samuli 'elfittaja' Sihvonen competing it's no wonder fans were surprised.

Check's NGL ONE performance was solid, as was his performance on Echo Isles this afternoon where the match played out as definitively one sided. It's entirely possible Check might take the King of Kings title. That being said, LucifroN seems to improve by a leap and a bound between his appearances, there's no denying he also has a very good chance to take the King of King's title.

Check has had a productive past few days, winning a new NGL ONE title and a new contract with nGize, who he signed with just a few days ago. With today's result Check now has the opportunity to add a solo tournament win to finish out his year.

Regardless of who stands the better chance to win, there's one thing I'm sure every spectator can agree on, the King of King's final will be one very exciting match.

The finals and third place decider match will take place shortly after Christmas.
