nGize acquire Check, more to come

ImageTeam nGize announced today their acquisition of Korean Night Elf player Hyeong Ju "Check" Lee, formerly of Mortal Team Work, confirming speculation that he would sign with the restructuring team.

In what was then an unclear move, nGize removed their entire Warcraft squad earlier in December, keeping Daniel 'LiiLD.C' Claesson on the roster only to release him shortly thereafter, leaving nGize without a Warcraft III squad.

Speculation has been rife this past week or so as to which players nGize would sign. Shortly after the removal of their team, nGize announced Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán as the first in a string of player acquisitions to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Later, a player was added to the team roster under the pseudonym "ò_Ó", now revealed to be Korean Night Elf Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee. Check was the former captain of the 2008 NGL champions Mortal Team Work who, despite competing last weekend, have officially disbanded. Check has signed a 12 month contract along with his new teammate LucifroN.

Intriguingly, nGize have added yet another pseudonym to their prospective roster, this time accompanied by an Undead symbol. It's not immediately clear who "(^_^)" could be, of course Dae Hui 'FoV' Cho has just recently become available, but Russian Undead player Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin has been available for quite some time. Despite not being well accomplished as a solo player, Happy stands as one of the strongest Undead players around at the moment, in Europe certainly.

With the acquisition of an Undead player nGize will have one Orc, one Undead and one Night Elf on their roster, it's possible the team is looking to pick up one of each race to broaden their options.

As for who that might be, Sung Yeon 'Myth' Kim has been garnering quite some attention recently, he's currently competing in the King of Kings championship where he beat Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom, Samuli 'elfittaja' Sihvonen and Tim 'HLA' Gebel to claim first place in his group.

Whoever nGize picks up, we can expect an announcement in the coming days.
