ImageXuwen “infi” Wang of World Elite will sit out yet another season of Professional Gamers League(PGL) after failing to qualify for the second time in a row.

The 19-year-old saw himself in a comparably tough half bracket with three of his team-mates Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li, Hao 'suhO' Su and Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng as well as Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu of Mousesports and Zhengkun 'Guangmo' Guo of eXpertise in the knockout phase after topping his group in previous group stage.

Following a 2-0 defeat of Night elf player Wang 'Tree' Li in Round 16, he only had to win one match to qualify as seven berths in next January’s event were up for grabs in the qualifier, but luck was not by his side this time. He lost 1-2 in both matches against Fly100% and suhO in spite of getting off a perfect start by leading 1-0, before he was eventually knocked out by another World Elite player Kejing 'Like' Li 2-0.
