SK Gaming has emerged victorious after a nail biting series of matches versus Mortal Team Work in the NGL ONE grand finals.
ReMinD vs. WinNers
First up was ReMinD versus WinNers where WinNers lost what little control he had over the match when he brought a low HP Demon Hunter back into battle, having to town portal to save it. WinNers tried to recover by pushing out to meet ReMinD again, but again lost his Demon Hunter, followed by his Seawitch. At this point ReMinD took advantage of the situation and set up an ancient of war push to which WinNers had no counter, ReMinD took the first match.
ReMinD vs. FoV
Game two on Turtle Rock between FoV and ReMinD started off with a bit of worker trading when FoV decided to tech fast and play aggressively, leaving his base open for ReMinD to kill two acolytes and slow the undeads gold production significantly. FoV produced some very fast gargoyles, putting the screws to ReMinD and slowing the leveling on his Pandaren Brewmaster. ReMinD failed twice to put his expansion up at the cost of additional units, so FoV decided to utilize his food advantage to push ReMinD. ReMinD's hippogryphs were no match for FoV's mass of gargoyles, nor were his heroes any match for FoV's coil nova.
Lyn vs. FoV
SK decided to use Lyn against FoV for the third game on Lost Temple, putting FoV at a heavy disadvantage right from the start. The undead opened the game up with some nice harassment, jacking bits and pieces of experience, but more importantly stopping Lyn from creeping anything significant. FoV was caught in an unlucky situation when he ran face first into a stomp/surround, forcing him to burn his town portal. FoV tried his hand at a burrow harass where things eventually turned in his favour, slightly, but not enough to seal the deal. From there Lyn continued creeping to which FoV had no rebuttal. The two met outside of Lyn's base where the orc players heroes went to work winning Lyn the match.

Lyn vs. Check
Game four was between Lyn and Check on Terenas Stand where Lyn fast crept his natural expansion point, picking up a nice chunk of experience. A great surround in the center of the map forced Check to town portal out, further slowing his game down. Lyn's harassment was fantastic on Terenas Stand, slowing Check down in every conceivable way. Lyn continued harassing with his Blademaster while creeping with his Tauren Chieften and setting up an expansion at his natural. Check's talons were delayed heavily as a result of the orc harassment leaving him without the units to defend against Lyn's push.
Lyn vs. WhO
Game five was between Lyn and WhO on Echo Isles with Lyn opening things up with a great harass on WhO's peon lines which cost his opponent a significant amount of gold. WhO continued creeping through the harassment, even picking off a few grunts which gave him a level three Blademaster before Lyn. Some great scouting from WhO let him jack several items from Lyn throughout the game. Lyn eventually pushed WhO's base with a slight food advantage, possibly hoping to kill enough units or building to turn things in his favour. Lyn chased WhO's low health Shadow Hunter across the map losing his own in the process and calling good game rather early, knowing despite the game still being playable, his only chance to come back would be waiting for WhO to make a mistake.
SoJu vs. WhO
The sixth match took place on Twisted Meadows between SoJu and WhO where some risky creeping early on without a hero saw WhO backpedaling towards his base, only to then turn the match in his favour with a huge surround on SoJu allowing him to continue creeping. WhO produced a few kodo beasts quite early giving him a clear advantage over SoJu in battle. After catching the night elf creeping the goblin laboratory without a town portal WhO moved in and began punishing SoJu as he tried backing off to his base, where WhO was able to devour two bears, kill several more and end the game with a pair of hero kills.

ReiGn vs. WhO
The final match was on Terenas Stand between ReiGn and WhO where WhO took a very risky avenue by creeping his natural expansion point, setting up an expansion and building a warmill all within the opening minutes. ReiGn opted for a tier two push where he was, surprisingly, able to convince WhO to cancel his expansion. WhO tried recovering with a sapper attack on ReiGn's base destroying two ziggurats to slow down the undead. Unfortunately for WhO, it wasn't enough to stave off the destroyers and with a final push ReiGn was able to cut through WhO's grunts and raiders like butter with the help of a few destroyers, winning the final match.
