It was now announced that Virtus Pro is removing all of their Ukrainian players to recruit the three Russians Dmitri 'hooch' Bogdanov, Ivan 'Xenitron' Totskiy and Denis 'diNGo' Kolomenskiy. According to team manager Konstantin "groove" Pikiner it just didn't work out with the Ukrainian style and they will now give the new lineup at least three months to try out if it works. Also he adds, this had nothing to do with the results or performance of the team which was good and thanks them for the 18 great months they had.

Virtus Pro had pretty good results lately in the Russian scene by placing second at the Rekrut.ru Championship 2008 only losing to mTw and also winning the ICC against Team Alternate at the same weekend. But hooch already announced he wants to return to the Russian scene after leaving Amazing Gaming shortly ago which were down to only three active players and their newest pickup Esenin.

Also the three Ukrainian members Ioan 'Edward' Sukhariev, Danylo 'Zeus' Teslenko and Mykhailo 'Kane' Blagin will now have to look out for a new team and Amazing Gaming is one of the teams that could pick up one or more of those players.
