The second tour of the CEG 2008 series comes to Chengdu, China, this weekend with 20 top-notch Chinese players hunting for gold in the Warcraft III tournament. Former mTw teammates, Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee and Du Seop 'WhO' Chang, who will be participating in NGL ONE Season 5 Finals in Berlin, Germany, in the meantime, will sit out of this event for the second time.

The group draw today split 20 participants into 4 groups of 5. Similar to a handful of past occasions, it tied several World Elite players in a single group, and this time around it is Xiang 'Panxiang' Pan, Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li, Hao 'suhO' Su and their latest addition Youchao 'Syc' Su who joined the ranks through a promotional tournament with Pepsi.

The format remains the same as previous tournaments, which will see players in each group competing for two places in the following single elimination knockout phase. The tournament will then switch match format from best-of-one to best-of-three.
