GamePlay.tv parts ways with its CS team
The Finnish CS squad formerly known as Roccat / GamePlay has come to a mutual agreement with the aforementioned parties not to extend their contracts, therefore leaving them without a team as of January 2009.

The Finnish CS squad formerly known as Roccat / GamePlay has come to a mutual agreement with the aforementioned parties not to extend their contracts, therefore leaving them without a team as of January 2009.We haven't seen much of this Finnish team recently. The only recent result that would spring to any fan's mind is their third place at the Extreme Masters Dubai stop, and not long ago they also managed to claw their way into the top eight of the Rekrut Cup in Russia.
This financial crisis everyone is talking about is not a joke and GamePlay.tv company literally felt the meaning of the term recession when their organization decided to rescind their contracts at the end of the year.
Quoting the manager of the team Shayan "Shayan" Taleb, "Yes, we're parting ways with GamePlay. Roccat left the CS scene completely. Our contracts end at the end of December this year and therefore we will look for another organization to support us in 2009."
