nGize.FSP have signed the emerging Orc player Pedro Moreno “LucifroN” Durán from WICKED eSports after parting company with the Swedes Daniel "LiilD.C" Claesson.nGize.FSP last night confirmed the addition of the young Spaniard to their WC3 department, which saw the release of Martin 'Bonecracker' Hušák, Fredrik 'KnOfF' Knopf, Silviu 'Nightend' Lazar and Juha-Matti 'Satiini' Bäckström last week.
Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán is one of few performing European youngsters on the international stage this year. Participating BlizzCon 2008 in Anaheim, California as the youngest attendee in the history of Blizzard's event, he eventually finished second, barely edged out by June 'Lyn' Park of SK Gaming in the overall final. On top of that he also finished 5-8th in last month’s World Cyber Games 2008.
The 17-year-old expressed his content with his run in 2008 and set his sights on more glory next year. "I feel satisfied of my performance throughout the year," He told nGize.com, "I'll play my best in all the tournaments I attend and will try to place top3 as often I can, I'm specially looking forward to ESWC since I didn’t have the chance to travel to the finals last year (2007) because of being underage."
Meanwhile the last member of the old nGize squad, which succeeded in maintaining their WC3L status with a 3-0 defeat of Raptor Gaming in relegation playoffs, Daniel 'LiiLD.C' Claesson has followed his former team-mates out of the German side. Leaving as “disagreement for a cooperation in 2009” cited in the press release, he contributed 9 points altogether for his team last term and was a solid bone of the team.
However, nGize is not yet done with reforming their WC3 team, claiming more will follow up later this week.
