Fnatic announced today the details for the King of Kings Championship event, a high profile Warcraft III tournament spanning the month of December.

Fnatic announced today the details for the King of Kings Championship event, a high profile Warcraft III tournament spanning the month of December.Following the successful Korean Amateur Challenge is the King of Kings Championship, a two stage tournament featuring 16 players and boasting a wide array of Warcraft talent, with amateurs and veterans from across North America, Europe and South Korea.
Amongst the 16 competitors is each and every player from fnatic, the ever more popular Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán, mTw's Korean representative Du Seop 'WhO' Chang, Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn of Gravitas Gaming and plenty more.
The event will start off with a best of one group stage where four players will compete for the top spot, only the highest ranked player from each group will advance. From there, the event will progress to a single elimination bracket stage, each match being played to the best of three.
Participants are competing for a $600 USD prize pot divided between the top three placements with $300 being awarded for first place, $200 for second and $100 for third.
The event kicks off Saturday December 13th and will last roughly two weeks, ending with the finals on the 29th.
Games will be streamed live via GarenaTV and WaaaghTV.
