Colorful, though teeming with potential, always seemed to flub their chances at qualifying for the regular season, either by poor performances, poor organization or a combination of both.

This season Colorful came out swinging, managing to secure one of the initial two qualifier spots straight from the upper bracket, after three consecutive wins.

Fans had almost become accustom to seeing Colorful eliminated in the first two or so rounds, to see such a strong performance from the Chinese amateurs was a surprise, to say the least.

WICKED eSports also qualified from the upper bracket, taking the other top qualifier spot after three consecutive wins of their own. WICKED were one of, if not the favourite to qualify this season, and with Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán and now Samuli 'elfittaja' Sihvonen on the roster the team looks much stronger, maybe even like a contender.

Three spots are still up for grabs. Six teams remain in the running and while it's anyone's guess who might end up qualifying, Mouz certainly has the support of the fans.
