Daniel "Xlord" Spenst defeated WCG surprise Marc "Yaws" Forster in the Grand Final of the EPS Season XIII to win over $7,500 and defend his title.

Daniel 'ixi' Spenst was the champion of the EPS Season XII after defeating Tim 'HLA' Gebel 2-0 in the Grand Final in June.

This season the format was changed format from bo3 to bo5 and single elimination instead of double which meant for a different kind of final.

Xlord met Eric 'Eric' Marten in the first round of the semi-final defeating him 3-1 to progress to the Grand Final against Marc 'yAwS' Förster. Yaws had an exceptional WCG and was extremely unlucky not to come out of the group stage the, and earlier today he put up a great performance in the final against Xlord with 3-2 the final scoreline.

Final Standings

1. 6.000€ - Daniel 'ixi' Spenst
2. 3.000€ - Marc 'yAwS' Förster
3. 2.000€ - Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider
4. 1.000€ - Eric 'Eric' Marten
