Inhuman Moon breaks 5-month trophy drought at IEF
Jang Jae "Moon" Ho has recovered from his five-month-long slump to win the International E-Sports Festival 2008, defeating two of the three Human players who made it to the semi finals.

Jang Jae "Moon" Ho has recovered from his five-month-long slump to win the International E-Sports Festival 2008, defeating two of the three Human players who made it to the semi finals.Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang's opponent for the play-offs, according to the play-off bracket structure, was initially Yoan 'ToD' Merlo but the brackets were changed after the first day of competition.
This was, according to IEF, done with the consent of the participating players who agreed to change the brackets and put their signatures to confirm it.
Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang played Xuwen 'InFi' Wang instead, and despite losing the opening game bounced back to win 2-1 to progress to the grand final. Meanwhile Yoan 'ToD' Merlo was once against pitted against Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li who he lost against both times the pair played at ESWC Masters of Paris, and this time ToD was once against met with defeat.
Therefore the grand final was between MYM.Moon and WE.Sky, the pair have met several times over the past few months with results favouring the Korean Night Elf player 6:4. Once again Moon dropped the opening game versus his Chinese Human opposition but fought back to win 2-1 and take 1st place and over $11,600.
Interestingly, the last final that Moon won was almost exactly five months ago at the ESWC Masters of Paris. It was also against Sky. On that day third place went to Yoan 'ToD' Merlo.
At IEF 2008 the Frenchman also got third place, after beating infi 2-1. This is also the best result for the him since the tournament in Paris.
