This Dreamhack Winter was a roller coaster ride for SK.DotA and their fans. At long last they ended up with the silver medal and the second place.

After a lot of changes recently and not being able to perform at their best the team came under criticism. Assumptions were made that this will be the end after Akke left the team. Moreover, Snow, as the newest member, had to face scathing criticism mainly based on his low degree of popularity at that point. The majority of the community did not see SK winning anything.

However, at Dreamhack SK performed totally different than we knew from the recent past.

Quarter finals, SK beat Perfect Condition to meet the Danish guys from Mom equals toilet in the semi finals.
SK emerged victorious and advanced to the winner bracket final to face MYM who defeated mouz. Meet Your Makers walked over SK.DotA in two games and sent them down to the lower bracket.
In the lower bracket final mousesports awaited SK. In three very exciting games, SK was able to win twice and clear their way to the grand final.

The grand final promised to deliver a lot of eagerness and pressure from both sides, as they were just a step away from the victory and the prize money involved. MYM started with a 1:0 advantage into the final for winning the upper bracket. SK had to beat them twice if they wanted to grab the win. The first game looked very auspicious. SK stomped MYM based on an awesome team play performance. In spite of everything, in the second game SK were without a chance versus a repelled Pudge, an overfarmed DK with BKB and Omni's Guardian Angel.
