SK, fnatic and mouz could have been CGS franchises

ImagePaul "ReDeYe" Chaloner of QuadV and former presenter and commentator for the Championship Gaming Series shares his tale of how it all went wrong for the American company from an insider's viewpoint.

The news broke just over a week ago that the Championship Gaming Series was dead after it announced its immediate cease of operations.

One of the most interesting revelations is that RedeYe drew up plans to include existing esports franchises such as SK, fnatic and mouz but it never got off the ground.

Alexander "TheSlaSH" Müller-Rodic and Andreas "bds" Thorstensson already shared their thoughts on the death of the CGS here on the SK website but now you can read Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner's take on the death of the CGS on cadred.org.

"I drew up plans for including existing esports franchises such as fnatic, mouz and SK and my ideas on how to grow Europe"
RedeYe: "I drew up plans for including existing eSports franchises such as fnatic, mouz and SK and my ideas on how to grow Europe, give the teams a regular season, save money and yet make the league more open to those outside were being listened to if not fully accepted at a high level.

Whatever went wrong in between these conversations and Andy leaving, also left me on the side lines, once again."
