After being the strongest team throughout the whole tournament, Made in Brazil eventually won the final match against x3o . The previous clash from these two teams ended with a rather easy 23-7 score. But, unlike in the first match, the Americans were having a lot better day and were keeping the game relatively close.

The first and only map in the grand final was de_inferno. The first half was a disaster for X3O as they fell nine rounds behind their opponents (3-12). The second half, however, was a lot better for them and they managed to get back up to ten rounds, ending the game 10-16 in favour of mibr.

Also the top three teams from this tournament have qualified for the EM III global final in Hannover, which will be taking place at CEBIT in 2009.
