ImageChristine "potter" Chi from SK.Ladies will be joining female players from EG and PMS Clan to form a North American all-star Counter-Strike 1.6 team who will face off against a male Counter-Strike team in a battle of the sexes in South Africa.

Christine 'potter' Chi will travel to Johannesburg to play in South Africa's PLuGG Girls vs. Guys Game Off along with Stephanie 'missharvey' Harvey and Dimitra "d1m" Deliopoulos of PMS Clan as well as Izabel 'izabeL' Joanisse and Catherine "cAth" Leroux-Racette of Team EG.

Christine 'potter' Chi of SK.Ladies is to be the team-captain for the all-star team considering she is the most experienced of the five with two ESWC gold medals to her name from 2007 and 2008, as well as a silver medal from the ESWC Masters of Paris earlier this year.

The all-star team will arrive in the South African capital on the 24th November for two days of media touring as well as a photo shoot before then competing against the winner of the domestic South African online tournament in a female versus male match. The match will take place at a huge event party and tournament on November 29th at Turbine Hall in Johannesburg.

"Win or lose, we are looking forward to bringing a new era of women in CS so there is no confusion that women have talent in gaming"
Leader and founder of PMS Clan, Amber Dalton, is the manager of the all-star team and she believes it a great opportunity to show that women can compete with men.

"We are very excited for the girls to play at the PLuGG Game Off and show that women can compete against the guys," said Dalton.

"Win or lose, we are looking forward to bringing a new era of women in CS so there is no confusion that women have talent in gaming... and an era where women will compete regularly in male bracket events as a norm, not a one-off occurrence."
