Moon and HoT do the dance of the Sentinels

ImageJang "Moon" Jae Ho has successfully qualified as the top rank from group G after his group stage match against Mykhaylo "HoT" Novopashyn.

Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang emerged as the top ranked player of Group G after his match on Secret Valley, where a skirmish heavy battle with Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn fell in favour of the fifth race.

HoT tried his hand at some aggressive pushing while Moon, seemingly no stranger to an aggressive night elf, built additional Ancients of War to help defend.

HoT chose a Firelord as his initial hero which he handled very well. The game may have been one-sided, but we did get to see some nice moves from HoT. However, seeing as the Firelord was all the Ukrainian had on the field for a portion of the match, we’re only going to give him half a point for style, being that he had little else to focus on.

To be frank, the match looked more like a show match than a decisive battle. HoT's micro had the crowd "oohing" and "aahing" on more than one occasion, especially when he dropped his own Panda to deny Moon the experience. In fact, HoT may have killed more of his own units than Moon did.

HoT’s attempt at an aggressive push may well have been a serious attempt at winning the match, but afterwards it looked like he was more interested in micro'ing his units with panache than doing significant damage.

Not to take anything away from Moon's win as he played to perfection, but if these two meet again I doubt we'll be seeing a similar game.

If Moon beats Nickunj 'raZIel' Bansal then he and HoT will advance to the playoffs, if not all three will have to play relegation matches.
