Xuwen “infi” Wang claimed victory at the World e-Sports Masters today after a two-nil result over June “Lyn” Park in the grand final. With a group stage win over Xuwen 'InFi' Wang already under his belt, things were looking good for the Korean orc.
A convincing win over Manuel 'GrubbY' Schenkhuizen in the playoffs saw June 'Lyn' Park shoot ahead as the favorite between himself and infi.
The following day infi answered back by eliminating Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang from the competition.
The two met on what would be the first of two maps, Echo Isles. Control was with Lyn in the early stages of the match, though infi was able to set up an expansion unopposed, putting a ticking clock on Lyn's control. Lyn, as opposed to trying to eliminate a human expansion, expanded himself. Infi produced enough gryphons to press Lyn’s base before he finished his tier three tech, resulting in the loss of all of his burrows. This slowed down Lyn’s unit production leading to him losing his expansion, which in turn took bats, as a suitable counter, off the table.
As is usually the case in this situation, control slowly slipped away from Lyn giving infi the first map.
The second map was Twisted Meadows where infi opted for an early tower push, something exceedingly more rare these days. Lyn was away creeping when the human came calling, giving infi a jump start on tower production and good positioning.
Lyn returned to his base to find a firing squad of footmen and water elementals defending the enemy towers. Lyn pushed the front with his grunts and Blademaster while flanking the back with his mercenaries. A great move, but not nearly effective enough.
Lyn decided to tech to train demolishers, eventually losing a grunt and significant HP on most of his units during a failed attempt to take out infi’s towers. Lyn backed off to heal leaving an opening for infi, which he took.
Lyn tried to defend, but infi was in too strong a position at this point forcing Lyn to concede defeat.
For first place Infi picks up an impressive 15,000USD, Lyn will receive 7500USD for coming second, while Grubby will get 4000USD for coming third and lastly Moon will get 2500USD for coming fourth.

why do u hate grubby? what has he done to you? nothing, and still you are naging
at grubby 24/7. "uuh grubby is a noob omfg, haha nohairdal pays moon to lose"
lol.. JUST STFU!! get a life, start hang out with your friends (if you have any), grab a beer, and relax ;)
maybe you could get a girlfriend, but i doubt it,
they dont like people who always sits here in sk-gaming 24/7 doing nothing but writing stuff about players they hate.
instead you should be nice, friendly, more people would like u (maybe.. xD)
another thing, you should go home and rethink your life, go back to school maybe, teach some more english.
