Blizzard has revealed plans for a multitude of locations around the globe to remain open at midnight on November 12, to host launch events for the highly anticipated expansion pack.

Blizzard has revealed plans for a multitude of locations around the globe to remain open at midnight on November 12, to host launch events for the highly anticipated expansion pack.Four lucky locales, in America of course, will be graced with the presence of Blizzard employees, who are going to be in New York, California, San Francisco and Texas to sign copies of the game.
Midnight launch parties will also be held in Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Taipei, and Seoul.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of store managers across Europe, America and Asia will be staving off the sandman that night too, to meet demand for the game. Both Best Buy and GameStop have announced mightnight events with GameSpot keeping over 3,000 North American locations open late.
"We've been looking forward to these launch events all year," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "This is one of the few opportunities we get to meet with players in person, and we can't wait to celebrate the release of Wrath of the Lich King with them."
Additional copies of the Collector's Edition of Lich King will be available on location as well. Check Blizzard's midnight launch page for more details.

Activities: World of Warcraft Trivia Competition, Guitar Hero Contest featuring music by Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain, Wrath of the Lich King Discussion Panel, Live Performance by Eminence Artists, creators of Echoes of War: The music of Blizzard Entertainment
British Launch
Location: HMV, 150 Oxford Street, London Thursday, November 13, doors open at 00:01.
Activities: COO Paul Sams and associate producer Lee Sparks will be signing copies.

According to him, everyone at one of these events is blowing off another, more important, commitment and that they're all there only to get this game a few hours earlier.
