Both teams met before in the winner bracket final in which MYM defeated SK 0:2 and sent them down into the loser bracket final. There SK had to prove themselves once more by beating the French team Serious Gaming.

The Danish team Meet Your Makers started out with a 1:0 advantage for winning the upper bracket. In two games MYM walked over SK and showed that the struggling days of the early stages in v6.52e are definitely gone and they are back to business.
