ImageThe third day and groupstage of the World Esport Masters have been finished, mTw knocked out SK while fnatic advance beating Team Dragon. Tomorrow mTw will take on fnatic in the Semi Final and mousesports will have to face eSTRO on Thursday.

Today were the two big deciders for Group A and B with mTw vs SK and fnatic vs Dragon. The Koreans of eSTRO beat wNv as expected which only got the two pistol rounds, eSTRO place second in the Groupstage after their victory.

Shortly after the first decider was played with fnatic vs Dragon on de_dust2 and fnatic looked strong today. Team Dragon were not able to repeat with what they did on Sunday, beating a favorite. Fnatic confidently won their match and also place second behind mousesports in Group B.

The next big match was coming up right away as mTw played SK on de_train and both teams have been very strong on that map in the past. SK won the coin toss choosing the CT side to start with but lost the pistol after mJe killed the remaining three players. Even though SK won the fourth round they were not able to get the money control back.

In the end mTw beat SK with 16-6 after a 9-6 half, not losing a single round in the second half. They will take on fnatic tomorrow morning at 9.15 CET which will be a re-match of EM Dubai.

Also mousesports beat MYM on de_nuke after MYM having a great start leading with 8-0 until mousesports started a comeback, winning six rounds in a row making it a 9-6. Mousesports won the match with 16-12 but without taking something away, both teams knew this match had no impact at all as mousesports advance and MYM are knocked out.

They will now face eSTRO on Thursday morning, the last time they met was at ESWC Masters in Paris which was won by mousesports (16-7). Still all matches are played as Best-of-Three from now on and the loser will play the 3rd place Decider on Saturday while the winner advances to the Grand Final.
