WEM Day 2 Finished - MYM cheated out?

ImageThe second day of the World Esport Masters has been finished and only four matches are left in the groupstage, two teams are almost certain knocked out. MYM lost to both Dragon and fnatic and have no chance of advancing as well as wNv from Group A.

The first day had some surprises already with Team Dragon beating MYM which more or less was cheated. The Chinese players were jumping up when something good happened, which is fine if they wouldn't have looked at the screens of the MYM players, took their headsets off and then also communicated with their team members.

According to the rules, you get a default loss when looking at the screen of other players, you are also not allowed to communicate when dead and not even do hand gestures. Still after MYMs team manager complained several times, the Chinese team only received a warning. Losing to fnatic today, MYM are therefore knocked out of the tournament.

Also eSTRO had another tie on their second day, first against SK Gaming and now against mTw. This means eSTRO needs to win the wNv match in order to have a chance of advancing which is expected, after wNv is also already out and will most likely have no motivation left.

Mousesports then beat Team Dragon with an impressive 16-3 on de_inferno being the first team to have a spot in the playoffs. This leads to two big decider matches tomorrow between mTw and SK Gaming at 13:00 CET for Group A and fnatic vs Dragon at 12:00 CET for Group B.

Both winners are expected to advance to the playoffs which will be played on Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately there is again no HLTV for the tournament but you can watch the live stream (or use the PPLive Client). Also check the event page for all scores of both tournaments, Counter-Strike and Warcraft III.
