ImageThe Esports icon in China, Xiaofeng “Sky” Li confessed he himself is the limit for now in a post-interview with Replays.Net following a defeat to Du Seop “WhO” Chang in the opening day of World Esports Masters.

How did you manage to win today, WhO?

WhO: Sky is very strong, but I went through lots of tactics and I was well prepared so I was able to win this.

Do you know why you lost, Sky?

Sky: There is something that bugs me in my mind and I have been working on my mental weakness lately. I will be much better if I pull through it.

Did he perfectly counter your tactic?

Sky: Not quite. He simply played very well, while my mind wasn’t very clear so it was pretty hard for me.

What do you guys think about tomorrow’s games?

WhO: I will work hard on this and do my best tomorrow.

Sky: My opponent will definitely prepare a lot against me so I will try to adjust my mindset and play up to par.

How do you look at your crazy fans at the scene, Sky?

Sky: It applies lots of pressure to me, but also drives me going. Anyway motivation plays the biggest part.

It’s your first time playing in an event of such a scale in China. How do you feel about it?

WhO: They are very positive and terrific atmosphere here. Im lovin’ it.

You seem to favour BM and SH combo and kodo beast a lot lately when you face NE’s dott strategy, but it doesn’t seem to click. Why do you prefer this tactic and will you make a change?

WhO: I opt for this mostly because it’s easy to micro. I thought about switching tactic too, but the tournament has already begun so it just makes things worse to switch tactic now so I will simply stick to it.

Anything to say about bo1 system and the committee pick the maps beforehand?

Sky: It helps us to prepare matches better, but WEM is different from WEG. There were three or four days between two games in WEG, and there weren’t so many strategies by then so we had plenty of time preparing for it, but we have match everyday so we don’t have much time actually.

WhO: I am fine with it, but sometimes it’s pretty hard when they pick certain maps for me.
