UnTeD returns to the Frozen Throne in MGC2008
Zhuo “TED” Zeng of World Elite has put end to Undead player’s winning draught in any major event and claimed the championship of Make Games Colorful 2008 following a thrilling 2-1 defeat of Weiliang “Fly100%” Lu of Mousesports.

Zhuo “TED” Zeng of World Elite has put end to Undead player’s winning draught in any major event and claimed the championship of Make Games Colorful 2008 following a thrilling 2-1 defeat of Weiliang “Fly100%” Lu of Mousesports.The 20-year-old has been terrific yesterday, steamrolling through to the winner bracket final undefeated. Defeating his team-mate Hao “suhO” Su with a thrilling 2-1 win and proceeded to the overall final, he had everything to win the tournament.
However, his counterpart in the overall final is a known “never-say-die” type of player. In spite of dropping to the lower bracket final after losing to TED, he vied his way to meet TED again after ruling the lower bracket with defeats of WhO, FoV and suhO.
Coming from lower bracket, Fly100% had to win two sets of best of three matches in the overall final. With a dominating tier 3 strategy and later on a mighty hero combo of level 5 Blade Master and Shadow Hunter, the tenacious Orc player succeeded in equalizing the scoreboard with a 2-0 win.
Winning the first game of the second set of match on Echo Isles, Fly100% was merely inches away from his third title in three months, but it turned out beyond his reach. TED then displayed two masterpiece of performance with his well control of fiend as well as three heroes and edged Fly100% with a 2-1 win in the end. He marked a milestone in his gaming career with his first major achievement and received an impressive prize money of USD 12,200.
The final standing of Make Games Colorful 2008 looks as follow:
