Valve is already running a beta for an update version of CS 1.6 and although the specific details of the changes to be made remain unsure, one change will have a huge impact, the protocol of CS will go from 47 to 48, making old demos unplayable.According to HLTV the protocol change will mean that ALL old demos will be rendered useless, so your Heaton collection could be yesterdays news. The update is apparently set to be released sometime this week which will undoubtably cause a heated reaction from the CS fanbase.

... when valve stops the crouch hop , no one more plays 1.6 :P
today is crouching a skill not a bug -,-
and crouching iss now a movement skill not a bug ..
Instead of focusing on other bugs like flash bug and upgrading VAC they do this...
Not only that, they don't even ask the community's thought's about it..
Give us a break Valve.. seriously..
Seriously Valve, go fu** yourself.
One thing is changing the game, changing the protocol version is UTTER BULLSHIT.
