The playoffs have started today and some great matches were played already. Made in Brazil met fnatic in the Semi Final on de_train beating them with an impressive 16-3 advancing to the Winnerbracket Final. Fnatic did not seem to be back on track yet losing some very important 3on1 situations against MiBr which could have turned the game around due to the different money situation.

Also shortly after fnatic got their revenge on Team EG in the Lowerbracket defeating them with 16-1 after losing to them at the Global Challenge in Los Angles also with 1-16.

After one and a half hour of delays, the Semi Final match between SK Gaming and Gravitas Gaming (former x3o) has started on de_train. The match was delayed for so long due to computer problems for the SK players and also Dennis 'walle' Wallenberg crashed after the pistol round which was won by Gravitas Gaming.

Gravitas were then up with a 5-0 lead until SK Gaming managed to come back into the game still winning the first half with 8-7 showing some convincing rounds. The second half wasn't as close as the first one with SK getting their needed 8 rounds and letting Gravitas win only a single round making it a 16-8 total.

Right now Gravitas Gaming is playing Sway Gaming in the Lowerbracket and the winner will face fnatic in the Lowerbracket Final on Sunday at 17.00 CET. You can find out more about the Global Challenge Montreal on our event page.
