Having problems in arena? You long for those S4 weapons and shoulders? There is a solution for it, play Retribution Paladin!Anyioella from battlegroup Ruin went from a very mediocre 1438 team rating in 2v2 to a staggering 2203 with only 3 losses in total (most likely to mirror) just days after 3.0 was released. Setup? Retribution Paladin x 2 of course.
Blizzard is aware of the problem but so far we have only seen a very small nerf, while most changes will be fixed before the release of Wrath of the Lich King. But what about people who want to arena till then?

This patch is made for fun, so that people can try the new speccs and abilities, there's a reason why they canceled the arena season
The thing is that retri is retardedly overpowered at lvl 80 aswell, and been all the time during beta.
And the biggest problem in this patch is the latency in arenas, not them.
If something was OP in 2.4 and it was about getting gladiator or not, whatever, I'd might be cursing about it (WOTF PERC) but this is something else.
I played druid myself and was able to reach 2.1k with s2 gear, so give it a break.
Its just ridiculous the amount of childish whine people keep making, since there loved WLD etc cant get free wins anymore..

* We have now changed the name of the Arena to Retradin Arena.
* We have only allowed paladins to sign the queue for all Retradin Arena and Retrigrounds.

Some nerfs are ofcourse needed, but blizzard did a great job designing the new ret tree, with the ability to offheal and support.

Imho (now I will get flamed by all paladins), make bubble a holy/prot talent.
on a sidenote, the changes coming in next patch look pretty promising, less burst but still same overall dps so they don't get too gimp in pve.
first day arena server of ssl was not up so we couldn't join,
2nd loss.... i had terrible lag anyi was getting owned and i was standing somewhere in the back :P
and 3rd loss i had GCD on bubble yeah i'm pro haha

Please, you people have in idea what shit Paladins have had to deal with for the last 3 years. And all you can do is cry about them in a patch most people aren't playing in anyway?? The only chance Paladins do have a chance to get shoulders before they replace then in 2 weeks, what happened to the months all those other classes were viable and had gear handed to them? You guys were viable for months on end, in PVP games that mattered, and you actually are QQing about Paladins who do too much damage for what, a month, in PVP that doesn't matter and they get to grab PVP gear that will get replaced in a few weeks?
Please, retards will cry about anything. And once the dust has all cleared, what are Paladins left with? Damage the same as any other classes, and all their old weaknesses still there because Blizzard can't be fucked fixing them past giving them mega-burst that they will balance out anyway. Oh yeh, and a fuck long 3minute forbearance too.

And BTW, I personally think Frost Mages are currently far more OP then Ret Paladins, but you don't hear people mass QQing about them.
I have played a Paladin myself, and this is not QQ, it is just stating an obvious fact and one which Blizzard agrees on; nerf the burst but keep the damage (over time).
