German Warcraft player Lars Gerrit "Protois" Reichelt, whose contract was scheduled to expire at the end of the year, has been removed from Mortal Team Work's roster. The 20-year-old undead user has parted ways with Mortal Team Work citing several reasons as to why his contract was terminated prematurely on the readmore.de forums.
Protois has been excluded from WC3L and NGL team matches since May of this year, roughly the same time Beijing E-sports Team transferred to Mortal Team Work. The lack of inclusion in team matches, combined with his mounting school studies resulted in a decreasing desire to keep up with his practice regiment.
Protois ranks 13th in the ESL's German Pro Series, a high priority event for most German Warcraft players. Protois attributes his poor performance to a lack motivation to continue practicing.
Johannes "hanf" Morlo is now the only remaining non-Korean player in Mortal Team Work, the last of the international team that was pushed out to make way for the former all Korean team of Beijing E-sports Team.
Mortal Team Work have not yet released a statement in regards to the news, though are expected to later today.

right decission by both. protois focussing on studies and mtw for releasing him.
gl in future protois
but to answer why he left 2-3 months prior to his contract, i don't know. but how much does 2-3 months matter anyway. i guess protois wanted to get out..
who knows, maybe he wants to retire :X hope not tho
it seems like off topic now :d
on topic: it's quite rational for protois to focus on study rather than on wc3 coz the previous choice provides a brighter future for him. good luck :)
but when he was active he rocked, kinda sad that he leaves now :(
