The organizing committee of World Esports Masters has released the groups of the forthcoming event in China, one of which ties Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen, Jae Ho “Moon” Jang, Xiaofeng “Sky” Li and Du Seop “WhO” Chang together.
The event to be held from October 26 to November 2 marks the return of the well-known World E-sports Games(WEG), which ceased to fall into place after hosting the momentous WEG Masters two years ago. With USD 33,000 up for grab for Warcraft III tournament, it features eight currently best players worldwide in Hangzhou, China.
With just two weeks away from the opening day of WEM, Replays.net published the group drawing as well as a concrete schedule.
The competition in Group A is deemed tight with a host of this year's champions. Apart from the defending champion Yoan 'ToD' Merlo, who triumphed over his former team-mate Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen with a 3-1 win last time, KODE5 champion Xuwen 'infi' Wang, EM Season 2 champion June 'Lyn' Park and SEC2008 champion Yoan 'ToD' Merlo are also gunning for two semi-final places.
Meanwhile Group B could easily entitled as the "Group of death" in terms of popularity, and skill. It not only groups two finalists of ESWC2008, Du Seop 'WhO' Chang and Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li as well as ESWC Masters champion Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang, but also bring the classic match-ups of Grubby versus Moon and Grubby versus Sky back on stage. A massive Warcraft III feast is in the making.
Though no detail regarding match format has been revealed, it is believed to be best of three in group stage while best of five in the single elimination playoffs with the first map pre-decided.

A: Infi and Hot
B: Moon and Who
sick
And Grubby, well, besides those 2 wc3l losses he really started playing great, so i think it's not wrong to say he's in great shape too!
But group A is sick too, go HoT!
GRUBBY>=LYN
MOON=>HOT
WHO>TOD
SKY>=INFI
kinda close but still B is somewhat significantly harder
hot = moon if you ask me, moon didnt do anything good lately, same goes for hot but taking hot into a lan tour like this you know he will be ultra good, so its equal
Who > grubby = lyn, both ups and downs, but if i have to pick 1 I would still give lyn a slight edge, after all he's at blizzcon now and qualified from korea, even though euro qualifier might be harder with luci and happy in top 3 :D:D while grubby did good at ngtv wc3 league or something but still just a online tournament, even though one of the most prestigious one onlines, its still online.. who just simply the best lately, eswc champ and dominating in general, not much more to add, in this way the groups are completely equal. My guess before the tour is that were gonna see nice things of tod and hot, hope so atleast, happy should have been there though.
any B player > any A player
ToD also nothing except losses.
Infi beat Lyn , but both of them are out of shape the last months!
So obviously group B > A !
Sky and Moon are the favourites for group B I think , although WhO showed some good performance at ESWC , I think that Sky and Moon will prove why they are the best in this game
infi and tod for group a
a: lyn, infi
b: moon, sky/whO
Moon offline is Moon.
@DiscoTheLegend:
I don't think that Lyn will pass the groupstage!
Well , look at players in this list , only whO is in great shape , others are just in "normal" shape or a little "bad" shape. So I go with whO.
