Last night, our Counter Strike squad did everything it could to cash in their ticket for the LAN Finals of ECS Season 4. Our team came out on top in their final two games against
NRG eSports and now has played every single one of their matches. Although some of our opponents still have fewer games than us, it is still probable that we will end up in one of the coveted top four seeds that lead to the LAN Finals. At the moment, our squad is sitting in the second spot behind the leader
Cloud 9 . We have gathered 33 points over the course of 18 matches and are standing at a record of 11-7. This seems like a comfortable situation but our Brazilians are being chased by the likes of
Team Liquid ,
Luminosity Gaming and
OpTic Gaming who have fewer points but also fewer games than our players and still possess a mathematical chance of running past our men. Our squad has done everything in its power but their fate of reaching the LAN Finals are not in their hands anymore. We have to hope that the stars align and our guys end up in a favourable position.
The LAN Finals will take place at the end of the year from the 15th to the 17th of December. It will present a 750,000 Dollar prize pool and will be an absolute highlight for the eight teams who have the privilege to participate in it at the beautiful location of Cancun, Mexico.
