SK is happy to announce the addition of the second American World of Warcraft PvP squad. The team leader of this squad is none other than the infamous Serennia who will play under SK Gaming's brand for the second time.Vance 'Serennia' Phuoc is known as one of the best Warriors in the world, mainly for holding the #1 spot in all three brackets in the Bloodlust battlegroup during the main part of season 2.
Not so long ago, Vance was already a part of SK Gaming's American PvP team, but after a couple of tournaments he decided to step down. But now he is making a comeback with a new team, consisting of his fellow countryman Fershie, who is playing under the nickname Swarm and the Canadian Chumpjohn.
The team's first appearance will be tomorrow at the Extreme Masters III Los Angeles World of Warcraft tournament, where they have been seeded in group B together with GotGame East, Nihilum Plasma and Finding Serennia .

""I just wanted to take a few minutes to apologize to SK and the viewers on behalf of Swarm's behavior. It was unprofessional and a horrible way to represent your sponsor. I'll admit that I used to act somewhat similar, but I've since matured and grown to understand that you can't treat the hand that feeds you like that.
That being said, regarding the matches we played today, I had mixed feelings. Nihilum runs a great WLD which is very difficult to counter, and our spriest/druid/war nearly killed their druid twice but we unfortunately got them on Nagrand arena both times which is the worst map for that comp to play on. We then played Got Game East and won 3-0 (first 2 against their DMR, last against their RWD) and felt we were set for success.
After beating the other no-name team, I felt we had an advantage over Pandemic. I felt that I played every series pretty well and the focus frame they gave you there helped a lot in staying out some CC and anticipating burst, etc. I think we obviously lost a lot of momentum after the first game and the ultimate outrage from Swarm, which again, I apologize for. The second game was a bit closer as we changed up the strategy slightly, but still resulted in a loss. Then for the last game, I followed a suggestion that an x6 member whispered me, but that also didn't seem to work, but I largely attribute that to our lost momentum (Pandemic did play very well, though; can't take anything away from them).
All in all, winning $1500 isn't disappointing so much so that if we had remained focused that we should have been able to overcome Pandemic and placed top 2 in the tournament at the least. I think GGE stands a good chance to win now and it's disappointing to know that we 3-0'd them before. But that's how tournaments go, I guess.
Out of curiosity, did they stream our series vs. GGE? Anyone see it?""
