mTw calamity - Danes out of EM Los Angeles!

The Extreme Masters III Los Angeles tournament given us the first major upset. It's a surprise of the highest calibre - the CS Team of the Year is out.The mTw team was one of the favourites to win in California, expected to at least progress to the playoffs from group play. The Danes have been very strong this year, winning the Kode5 Global Final and the ESWC Masters of Paris.
They will be going home early beaten by GamePlay (former Roccat) and Paragon of Virtue. A 12-18 score in favour of the Finns does not tell how safe the victory was for GamePlay.
The upset of the group and the game that put mTw out of the tournament was the dust 2 encounter with POV. Paragon of Virtue came into the match having lost to GP 3-27! The first half was close, but the Americans' T-side brought them a 8-2 score and the match ended 9-16.
A 1-0-2 record was only good enough to warrant a third place in Group B. GamePlay topps the group with POV progressing from second place. Fnatic dominated Group A. The Swedes and x3o go through to the playoffs from that group.

roccat (gameplay) beat pov 16-0 (in the end 27-3) and mtw lost against them?
Maybe they took their fly too late and are tired and uncontrentrated now?
Well, let see what happend with group C & D, and if there is some new surprises in those.

Would have liked to see them further in the tournament. But hey, another opponent that SK doesn't have to worry about.
well, it's their own fault. They should've practiced more. Maybe they thought: Well, we won ESWC and KODE5, so we're gonna win this easy too!
But they didn't win ..
