Only one day after their victory against Team Alternate SK.WC3 are already back in action, this time against 2nd place World Elite, a win could put SK in with a chance of auto-qualification.Following their victory yesterday SK Gaming are now sitting at fourth place with 32 points with both World Elite and fnatic on 33 points, and Meet Your Makers leading with 34 points.
SK Gaming are opening Playday 10 and a victory against World Elite would allow them to jump up to first place. However in order to stay at 1st or second place they will rely on the result of MYM vs Fnatic, another playday 10 match which is scheduled for Tuesday 7th October next week.
Fnatic are one point ahead of SK Gaming and have a chance at nicking 1st place if World Elite lose, however, as mentioned before they not only play MYM this playday but then on the final playday they play mTw , two hard matches.
World Elite have had a good season but have lost to the big guns so far this season with 3-2 losses to both mTw and MYM. Their last WC3L match was a 5-0 thrashing of nGize so they should be in good spirits to face SK Gaming.
ViOlet made his debut for SK yesterday versus Alternate defeating dArk 2-0, his addition allows SK more variation on their line-ups with both Daniel 'miou' Holthuis and Sung Sik 'ReminD' Kim on the bench yesterday.
Winning their last seven WC3L matches SK are on a roll and the question is whether World Elite will be strong enough to stop it and whether viOlet can take down a more skilled opponent if he plays. The match commences at 15:00pm CET and you can follow the result in our SK vs WE coverage item.
