The Korean Undead duo sliced past their Chinese counterparts, Wenrui 'Kenshin' Zeng and Xiang 'Panxiang' Pan in their respective group and were only one win away from the second stage of the qualifier.

However, they could all but settle a second place after falling flat in taking another win from the Night Elf pair Kim 'SaSe' Hammar and Hao 'suhO' Su.

Other familiar faces who cease to continue their NWL campaign are wNv pair Xiang 'TH000' Huang and Liwei 'xiaOt' Sun who did not seem to have shown up for the second time, and Jin Woo 'WinNers' Kim who lost to Jong Seok 'ReprisaL' Lee in Group 9.
