Blizzard has reconsidered the change that would reset honor points and battleground tokens. Players will now be able to keep their points and tokens for Wrath of the Lich King.It was planned by Blizzard to give PvP a fresh start in Wrath of the Lich King by resetting not only arena points, but honor points and battleground tokens as well. Blizzard felt that the new honor rewards in the upcoming patch would be a great way for players to spend their remaining honor before the reset.
However, Blizzard felt that a reset would take players by surprise as it was something that hasn’t been done in the past they reconsidered the change. Players will now be able to save their honor points and battleground tokens for Wrath of the Lich King. Players who save their honor points and battleground tokens will be able to spend them on the new level 80 honor rewards, though at a significantly higher price than their level 70 counterparts.
