Following a rough start to the season SK Gaming's Warcraft3 squad seem to have stabilised and continue their ascent towards the top of the rankings.

With a game in hand a strong win for the SK team would allow them to jump up one place to 4th. The two teams above them MYM and mTw play each other at 4:30pm CET this afternoon which will also affect the rankings. Dong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim is now available for selection for SK so it could be with see him play his first WC3L match later today.

Team Alternate despite starting well are on a losing streak having lost their last three WC3L matches to mTw, fnatic and MYM. However Kim 'SaSe' Hammar is on fire for Team Alternate winning all 5 of his last 1on1 WC3L matches prior to defeat to fnatic.Shy, which include victories against the likes of Jae Wook 'Lucifer' Noh, Jin Woo 'WinNers' Kim and Yoan 'ToD' Merlo.

SaSe has also teamed up with Daniel 'ixi' Spenst this season in the 2v2 and obtained good results, so a good performance from him once again will have a huge impact on the result.

With the end of the season drawing ever closer Alternate could still making it to the playoffs, facing 7th place nGize next Playday and victory against Gravitas who are 6th place would put them through if they drew on points. They face SK Gaming today and World Elite on the final playday so any points will be welcome in their plight for a playoff spot.
