Part of the Extreme Masters Season III, a Global Challenge is held in Montreal with several top teams attending in Counter-Strike and World of Warcraft. Another $80,000 USD will be given out here in mid-October.

The Global Challenges take place all over the world and the first teams for the Montreal event have been revealed. In Counter-Strike, SK Sweden will attend as well as fnatic, Made in Brazil, emuLate and Team EG as top teams so far. A total of 16 teams for Counter-Strike and WoW are expected, more teams will be announced soon.

For World of Warcraft, SK PvP EU will also be there with mousesports, fnatic, MoB and Pandemic Blue. The $80,000 are split for both games where $50,000 will be distributed for Counter-Strike and $30,000 for World of Warcraft. The whole event will take place from October 17th to 19th 2008 at the Sport Compact Performance Trade Fair in Montreal, Canada.

As announced earlier, SK CS and WoW will also attend the Los Angeles event and there is also one coming up in Dubai. Teams are still able to sing up here.
