Earlier this month the World e-Sports Masters (WEM) was announced with a $67,000 prize money in total. The event will take place from 26th October 2008 to 2nd November with eight participants in both Counter-Strike and Warcraft III.

SK Sweden and SK.Lyn have now been officially invited to the World e-Sports Masters event in October. Not too much has been revealed yet except for the $67,000 prize money for one of the games. Also the tournament will have a groupstage with two groups which will be played at the Grand Lecture Hall in HangZhou.

The Grand Final will then be played at the HuangLong Sports Center. So far mTw.dk and fnatic have confirmed to attend so there are still five spots left for the Counter-Strike event and seven for the Warcraft III event.

SK.Lyn is the first participant announced for the Warcraft III tournament where no information is available yet. More information is expected in the following days and weeks.
