The Human player dominated the WCG Russia Warcraft 3 finals by taking first place with an almost flawless victory to grab a seat for the World Finals in Cologne.Mihail 'XyLigan' Ryabkov is a well known Russian Warcraft 3 human player (no pun intended). One of his highest achievements was during WCG 2007, where he placed fourth after a well fought battle against MYM]Moon.
Despite coming from a country with talented players such as Happy and Deadman, this weekend there was no stopping him on the road to WCG Russia victory as swept his opponents aside in style dropping only one map.
Two other names are interesting to note here. n!Quai has played a lot in the WC3L leagues but has never really broken into the top cadre of internationally recognised players. Following his performance this weekened he now has a chance to prove himself at the WCG global finals in Cologne.
The other is nWo.Sting, who has established himself as a great orc player in the Zotac and WC3L league games. To add to his credit, he took out Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin, who had just won the Battle.net European finals in which top names such as Grubby, ToD, Creo and SaSe participated in. This gives Sting a third place and a ticket to Cologne as Russia awards three spots to the WCG finals.
The final standings were:
1st) Mihail 'XyLigan' Ryabkov
2nd) Boris 'n!Quai' Lekontsev
3rd) Yuri 'nWo.Sting' Sheremetov

seriously, time to get someone who reads the news and corrects them before they get published.
Sad for Happy though, I'd prefered to see him rather than Quaix who's only known for deflosses in Wc3l so far.
Better luck next time Happy and Well played to Xyligan
