4Kings remove British squad

Poor results led to the decision to remove the British squad from 4Kings. The organisation does not want to recruit another British team but want to focus on the Finnish team.

According to 4Kings Manager Ian "Javax" Leckey the lack of results and losing the throne to dignitas as well as not qualifying for the WCG and upcoming roster changes have led to the release of the team. The British team was not able to deliver the results 4Kings wanted to see and continuous lineup changes affected the team in a negative way.

Another roster change would be coming up again with Adam 'jeNuwiN' Griffiths moving away and not being able to play. The 4Kings organisation now want to focus on the Finnish team and will not recruit another Counter-Strike team for now. Below you can read the full statement of Manager Ian Leckey.

"After playing under the 4Kings name for a while now, we've chosen to release the team. Coming originally from virtuoso as being the UK's number one team, they failed make substantial leaps in the European scene and ultimately fell behind in the UK scene too, losing their throne to dignitas. After a number of lineup changes and player swaps, the team have been unable to rectify the situation. With jenuwin moving away soon, which would result in yet another roster change, we've decided to call it a day. We won't be pursuing another UK based CS team to replace them. Also I'd like to thank the parting players for their time spent in 4Kings and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors."
