A bunch of teams for the Global Challenge in Los Angeles have been revealed and SK will be participating in both tournaments. In addition, other top teams have been confirmed being fnatic, MYM or roccat for Counter-Strike but also x6tence or MoB for World of Warcraft.

Together with SK Sweden, SK.WoW US and EU PvP lots of other teams have been approved to attend the Global Challenge in Los Angeles. The event will take place from 3rd to 5th October 2008 with a total prize money of $80,000.

By winning a Global Challenge, you can not only win the prize money but also an extra slot for your continent in the Extreme Masters III Global Final. This means if an US team wins the Counter-Strike tournament, they get an additional spot for a US team to attend the Global Final in Hannover next year.

Also teams can still apply for both tournaments by visiting the event news to get more information. A total of 16 teams for both tournaments have to be decided so there are still spots left.
