SK Gaming on triple mission tomorrow

ImageSK Gaming players will have a busy day tomorrow as Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim, Seong Deok 'SoJu' Lee and Daniel 'miou' Holthuis will participate in their individual league, while the team is tied in a WC3L match with Raptor Gaming.

Starting at 12:00 CET, ReMinD and SoJu will go into their NiceGameTV WC3 League Round of 16 meeting with mTw pair Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee and Du Seop 'WhO' Chang, respectively. ReMinD today earlier lost a close match to the eventual winner Check in the consolation final of BlizzCon 2008 Asian Qualifier in Seoul, Korea. SoJu will face an even tougher task as he will take on the red-hot ESWC champion who has 2-0 his way to the final in the playoffs. Only two of the quartet will be able to join Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang and Dong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim in the quarter-finals.

Miou will kick off his second match in EPS Season XIII against Marc 'yAwS' Förster of team ALTERNATE later tomorrow at 18:00 CET. Both players lost 1-2 on the opening day a fortnight ago and ranked back-to-back in the wrong end of the table. Though yAwS has a much better win ratio in mirror match than his counterpart on paper, the six-time EPS champion has won the last two clashes between them in ESWC 2008 Germany Role Play Convention. A win for either side would set their new season campaign back to winning way.

Following a resounding 4-1 defeat of Meet Your Makers eleven days ago, SK Gaming will head into their Playday 5 match against Raptor Gaming at 17:00 CET. The promoted side are enduring a three match losing streak in WC3L after they opened the new season with a 3-2 defeat of team ALTERNATE. Trailing behind fnatic, who recently bolstered with Korea Orc player viOlet, with three points at the fifth place, SK Gaming will be looking to collect as many points as possible from the last ranked team, albeit their team manager Min-Sik 'reis' Ko is well aware enough to sense their German counterpart’s goal in this match.

“Raptor got some nice players, some of them won the ENC a week ago,” reis said today in ESL’s pre-match statement before adding: ”I guess they will try to gather some points for the current season because right now they have 4 points out of 4 clan wars which aren’t that much.”
